Silent Stars

Description
Los Feliz, L.A. (formerly Edendale). This is the location of one of the Mack Sennett Studios buildings (1912). Sennett was the "King of Comedy" during the silent era, and Charlie Chaplin made his first movie at Sennett's studio in 1914. In the early years of "Hollywood" this area was the location of many studios, including those of D.W. Griffith, Buster Keaton, Fox, etc. When Walt Disney arrived here in 1923, he setup his studio nearby, in an area where may actors, stuntmen and directors were living.
