The Parliament

Description
Ottawa, Ontario; Canada (my home town). Construction originally began in 1859 and completed in 1876. (Canada became it's own country in 1867). In 1916 a fire destroyed most of the building. The only surving part was the Library at the rear of the building which, oddly enough, had a completely wooden interior. The Parliament was completely rebuilt and opened again in 1927. It is Gothic Revival style. (I used to draw this building as a kid).
