Ottawa, Ontario; Canada. National War Memorial. Located near Parliament. Originally build to honor all those who fought in WWI, it is now dedicated to "Every Canadian killed in battle". Opened in 1939. Sculptor Vernon March. The soldiers are passing through to enter battle, without glorification. A bronze sculpture and granite archway.
